"Last Breath"
by Alexander Beedy
A vast ocean pure and free
Sweeping whitness
A vale of virtuosity
A paramount tide
Like the greatness of Neptune
Capturing the rocks
Releasing the glare of a glistening moon
She slips within the lap
As a fervent chill wakes
Onward unfolding her back
Twisting and lifting her nape
Slowly she descends
Into the pleasant sands
Nestling her desires
Like a breath that makes a fire
Deeper and more frail
Like a green limb in a winters swell
It rises cautiously soothing
The innocence that never tells
From the toes to the waist
Enveloping the breasts
Wrapturing the heart
Snaking the neck
Conclusively trickling into the lips
Intimately paralyzing infinite sorrow
An eternal moment where Heaven and Earth
Never reach that blessed morrow
